We did it, and in style. April 11th, 2009 we tied the eternal knot and life has been absolutely spectacular since then. It always was, but now its a little more special. Sealed in the San Diego Temple and posing in front of palm trees was we always dreamed about since being little kids and our dream finally came true. With family and friends at our side (and we couldn't have done it without them) we stepped into the marvelous life of becoming an eternal family. A beautiful reception was a total blast and we were sent on our happy way to stay the night in Newport Beach, before setting off on our 4 day cruise to Catalina Island, and Ensenada Mexico. Although it was overcast, we enjoyed snorkeling, fine dining, and a magnificent blowhol

e (La Bufadora). It was a total blast and loved every minute it of it. Each night we ended by stuffing our faces with 4 course meals and multiple desserts, after which we were too tired to do anything. We would retire to bed early and beat everyone off the boat the next morning, leaving the ports all to ourselves and the buffet line empty when we would get back on the boat just before lunch time. Spas the highlight of the afternoons, as long as they weren't spilling over with 7 year olds waiting to splash you in the face all day long (at which point I would start to trip the lil ones under the bubble covered water). Don't worry I never got caught. Upon return we spent 2 wonderful days at home, seeing how much everyone loves us by opening gift, after gift, after gift. We got spoiled and had to rent a trailer to bring it all up with us to Rexburg. Which is where the story takes a sad turn. Don't get us wrong, we love it up here. the school is great, the friends are fine, just something isn't the same, without the beautiful beach just minutes down the street. But life is grand, we have each other, and that's all we need. Because although life is tough and hard at times, its the simple knowledge that we always have each other at the end of the day that gets us through those difficult times.
